When Your Teach Hurts

Sometimes, being a coach is painful.  Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do.  But it does hurt on the days that your central theme comes back and hits you right between the eyes.

Such is the case today.

For years, I struggled to get my business off the ground…all because I wanted to “figure it all out” first.

It sounds noble, right?

Actually, trying to have it all settled before you take the first step is the exact issue that has taken greatness to the grave over and over and over again.

Once I finally decided to take action on my idea, fully knowing that I did not have step 5, 6, and 7 figured out, my business took off.

I have learned to figure out enough and then let the market tell you where to go next.

Think about that.
